USA - Hong Kong

Our Asia vacation starts as we check in for the international
flight bound for Bangkok.

Day 02 :
Enroute
|
|
Due to time difference and travel time, the day is spent onboard
the jetliner. The plane traverses the Pacific Ocean, crossing the
international date line.

Day 03 :
Hong Kong - Bangkok |
|
Upon arriving in Hong Kong, we board a connecting flight to
Bangkok, also known as the "City of Angels." After baggage
retrieval and clearing customs, the group is met by the Ritz
representative and transferred to the hotel. Tonight, we attend a
Thai Classical Dance Welcome Dinner Show.

Day 04 :
Bangkok
|
|
After breakfast, we visit and admire the royal splendor of the
Grand Palace and Coronation Hall. Buddhism is one of the
cornerstones of Thai culture and it influences can be felt and
admired as we visit the Emerald Buddha Temple. After visiting the
Gems Factory, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 05 :
Bangkok |
|
Today, we explore the world famous Damnern Saduak Floating Market
on Bangkok's timeless klongs (canals). The afternoon is free at
leisure. Some of us may choose to take an optional excursion to the
Rose Garden.

Day 06 :
Bangkok - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai
|
|
After breakfast at the hotel, we fly to Chiang Rai. Proceed to
Chang Saen, the old capital of the Lanna Kingdom. Continue our
journey to the Golden Triangle, the famous meeting point of
Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand. In the afternoon, we visit Mae Sai,
the northernmost town in Thailand. Return later in the day to
Chiang Rai and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 07 :
Chiang Rai - Chiang Ma
|
|
We
leave Chiang Rai for Chiang Mai, the largest city in northern
Thailand. After lunch, our tour visits the historic Doi Suthep
Temple located some 3500 ft above sea level as well as the Holy
Pagoda containing the relics of Lord Buddha. An evening Khantoke
Lanna Dinner Show is provided for our enjoyment.

Day 08 :
Chiang Mai
|
|
This morning's agenda has us observing the elephants at work in the
jungle. Afterwards, we visit the famous Chiang Dao Cape. After
lunch, the group continues on to the exciting Thai Handicraft
Village, Sankhempeng Factories of silk and cotton handweaving, and
Borsang, a village famous for its umbrellas and primitive paper
making.

Day 09 :
Chiang Mai - Bangkok - Singapore
|
|
With our delightful exploration of Thailand complete, we travel by
motorcoach back to Bangkok to catch a flight to Singapore, the
"Lion City." Today, it is famous for its old world charms and new
world appeals. After check in to the hotel, the rest of the day is
free for leisure activities.

Day 10 :
Singapore

Our sightseeing tour today includes visits to the Merlion Statue
with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. We also visit the
beautiful Botanical Garden, whose feature attraction is the
national orchid garden, the largest collection of its kind in the
world . After lunch, we visit Chinatown.

Day 11 :
Singapore - Malacca
|
|
Today we leave Singapore for Malaysia. Our destination is Malacca
located in the southern peninsula of Malaysia and its second
largest state. With a population of roughly 600,000, Malacca is a
city rich in culture. Upon arrival, we begin our city tour which
indlues a Trishaw Ride. Dinner is served at the hotel this evening.

Day 12 :
Malacca - Kuala Lumpur
|
|
It
is traditionally believed that the history of Malaysia began with
the founding of Malacca in 1400 by Parameswara, a Sumatran Prince.
It was once a small fishing village that grew under the Malacca
Sultanate to become an important trading center in the far east.
Our city tour continues with visits to the Dutch Square, Porta de
Santiago, St. Paul's Church, Cheng Hoong Teng Temple, Baba & Nyonya
Heritage, and Sam Poh Well. Later in the afternoon, continue on to
Kuala Lumpur by motorcoach. Upon arrival, we enjoy a traditional
Malay dinner along with a Cultural Dance Performance.

Day 13 :
Kuala Lumpur |
|
Founded in 1857, Kuala Lumpur is the legislative capital of
Malaysia and also its largest city.the famous landmark which holds
distinction as being the world's largest twin towers. We'll also
spend some time at the nearby KLCC Shopping Mall. Dinner is an
international buffet at the Kuala Lumpur Revolving Restaurant.

Day 14 :
Kuala Lumpur - Hong Kong
|
|
Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Hong Kong. Known as
the "Jewel of the Orient," Hong Kong is also regarded as the
shopping capital of Asia. We're met by the Ritz Tours Hong Kong
representative and transferred to the hotel. No activities have
been planned for today.

Hong Kong

A
half day city tour takes us to visit such famous points of interest
as Stanley Market, Repulse Bay, and Aberdeen's Floating Community.
A cable car ride up to Victoria Peak to take in the gorgeous
birds-eye view of Hong Kong and its harbor is also provided. The
rest of the day is free at leisure.
