Itinerary:

 

Day 1 (Thursday) USA to Beijing

Fly from your home city to Beijing

 

Day 2 (Friday) Arrive Beijing

Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. Upon arrival, our friendly guide will meet you and transfer you to and transfer to Beijing International Hotel.

 

Day 2 (Saturday) Beijing

Full day visit to the Temple of Heaven where you can watch local people doing morning exercises, the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City of Supreme Harmony and the elegant Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in the world.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

 

Day 3 (Sunday) Beijing

Full day visit to the Shaolin Kung Fu Training School or the Sacred Way, and the Badaling Great Wall . If time permits also visit the Bird Nest & Water cube for picture-taking, and the Jade Workshop.

Day 4 (Monday) Beijing

Take a morning tour of the Hutong and the Panda Zoo. After lunch, visit a Pearl Workshop. The rest of the afternoon is free. Optional tours available to Gaobeidian Village to visit local kindergarten, market, school and to interact with local villagers. Family cooked dinner is included ($75 net per person).

Day 5 (Tuesday) Beijing/Xian

Take a morning flight to Xian, the starting point of the ancient Silk Road . Its long standing history and colorful culture have left over numerous brilliant historical sites and precious cultural relics. Afternoon city tour includes a visit to the Grand Mosque, Muslim Street, and the Bell Tower. Check into Jian Guo Hotel or similar class hotel.

Day 6 (Wednesday) Xian

Full day sightseeing includes the Excavations of Terra-Cotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots, one of the greatest archeological finds of the century, also visit the Ceramics and Pottery Center. Tonight, taste Dumpling Dinner and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music Show.

Day 7 (Thursday) Xian/Shanghai (B)

Fly to Shanghai, the bustling cosmopolitan center of business and commerce in China.

The rest of the day is free, take leisure on your own or take an optional tour to the Huangpu River with dinner ( $59 per person). Check into Ocean Hotel Shanghai.

Day 8 (Friday) Shanghai

Full day visit to the classical Yu Garden, the Shanghai Museum - the attractions include enormous fine stone sculptures, bronze-ware, porcelain, calligraphic works, Chinese paintings and ancient furniture, Xintiandi ¨C a very well known boutique area, and the Bund ¨C the window of Shanghai history and modern changes.

Day 9 (Saturday) Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai

Take a bus excursion to Suzhou, well-known for its landscaped gardens. Visit the Garden of Net Master, Lingering Garden, the Grand Canal, Silk spinning factory and the local market. Return to Shanghai and back into Ocean Hotel.

Day 10 (Sunday) Depart Shanghai

Departure transfer to airport for your flight back home or your next destination
