Even more, you visit Suzhou , the ¡° Venice of the East¡±, marvel at the world class attractions such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses and, the Old and New Shanghai and a boat ride on the Grand Canal in Suzhou .

Tour Itinerary:

 

Day 1 (Friday) USA to Shanghai

Fly to Shanghai via our selected airline flights

 

Day 2 (Saturday) Arrive in Shanghai .

Arrive Shanghai , the bustling cosmopolitan center of business and commerce in China . Check-into Shanghai Skyway Pullman Hotel.

 

Day 3 (Sunday) Shanghai

This morning, visit the Old Downtown and the classical Yu Garden. Then visit the Shanghai Museum . The attractions include enormous fine stone sculptures, bronze-ware, porcelain, calligraphic works, Chinese paintings and ancient furniture. In the afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and the Carpet Factory. Enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight.

Day 4 (Monday) Shanghai

Today's highlight is a visit to the Shanghai World EXPO. It covers a large area of over 5.6 Square KM with 27 master halls. The theme is to show all new creational hopes, concepts, designs, technologies, and present to the world a full potential of urban life in the 21st century as a significant one for urban evolution with New Approaches of Human Habitat, Beautiful Lifestyle. (Shanghai EXPO is valid for May 01 ¨C Oct.31, but on Feb.01-Apr.29, Nov.01-Dec31 pre & post exhibition might also available ). If Shanghai EXPO is not available, visit the ancient water-town of Zhujiajiao. In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum . After the museum visit, stroll out the North Gate to the People's Square.

Day 5 (Tuesday) Shanghai/Suzhou

Take an express train to Suzhou (one hour by train) or to drive to Suzhou (one and half hour). Today's highlight is the visit the the Fisherman Net Master Garden (UNESCO Sites) and then the ¡°Three Attractions at Panmen¡±. It is composed of the Ancient City Gate as the waterway lock on the Grand Canal, the ancient pavilion style Ruiguang Pagoda and the classical style garden, Beamless Hall, Archway Wumen Stone Bridge. Also visit the Pingjianglu-ancient section of Suzhou , the Silk Reeling Factory. Check into Wu Palace Sheraton Suzhou Hotel or similar hotel.

Day 6 (Wednesday) Suzhou

Visit the Humble Administrator ¡®s Garden and then stroll along Mount & Pond Old Streets-the ancient corner of Suzhou , Then take a canal cruise along the ancient alleys to picturesque Hanshan Temple . In the afternoon, visit the Singapore New District & the Golden Roost Lake to Yuanrong Market-a modern plaza of hundreds stores decorated with Chinese classical architecture. Visit Li Gong Causeway across the lake with classical pavilions, towers, rockets, archways and rainbow style stone bridges and traditional gardens. This night we recommend you to stroll along Ligong Causeway or Ancient City Gate and relax at clubs, bars and restaurants along the canal.

Day 7 (Thursday) Suzhou / Shanghai / Xian

Drive from Suzhou the Shanghai airport (one hour) and take a later morning flight from Shanghai to Xian-the ancient capital over 1100 years and check into Xian Sofitel Hotel.

Afternoon sightseeing includes the Big Wild Goose Pagoda & the Banpo Neolithic Museum. Tonight, enjoy Xian Dumpling Dinner at Defachang Restaurant.

Day 8 (Friday) Xian

Full day sightseeing includes the Excavations of Terra-cotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots, one of the greatest archeological finds of the century. See all excavated Exhibitions 1, 2 ,3, 4 and watch the archaeologists work on further excavation. Watch the Circle Vision Movie of this historical story. Tonight, enjoy Tang Dynasty Music Show.

Day 9 (Saturday) Xian / Beijing

Morning is free for you to explore the city on your own. Fly to Beijing and transfer to Beijing Regent Wangfujing Hotel. In the afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven . If time permits, visit the Beijing City Planning Exhibition and watch a 3D film which shows the history, heritage and the fast development of Beijing . Enjoy a cultural show tonight.

Day 10 (Sunday) Beijing

Morning city tour includes the Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City , with visits at its Imperial jewelry and treasure sections. Afternoon tour to the elegant Summer Palace with a boat cruise on the shimmering waters of Kunming Lake .

Day 11 (Monday) Beijing

Take a tour to the exterior of the Bird's Nest & the Water Cube for photography. Drive to the Great Wall in Badaling and the Sacred Way to visit the Changling exhibition of the Ming Tombs. If time permits, visit a Cloissone Factory. Enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner tonight

Day 12 (Tuesday) Depart Beijing

Transfer to airport for homeward flight or your next destination.
