Itinerary:
Day 1: USA 每 Beijing
Check in at the airport for our international transpacific flight to China , ancient land of the Dragon
Day 2: Arrive Beijing
The wide-body jetliner touches down at Beijing airport where after baggage retrieval, we meet our Ritz Tours guide in the arrival hall. Transfer to our luxurious accommodations for a good night's rest.
Day 3: Beijing
We begin our sightseeing tour of this ancient cultural city with a stroll through Tiananmen Square , the world's largest urban square, covering a total 10 acres. Pass by Chairman Mao's Mausoleum and head to the Forbidden City, home to over five centuries of Ming and Qing emperors, followed by a visit to the on-site Palace Museum . After a tour of the exquisite Summer Palace and the picture stops at the 2008 Olympics Bird's Nest and Water Cube, we enjoy the local delicacy of a sumptuous Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 4: Beijing
Like a giant dragon snaking its way 4000 miles across China 's ever changing landscapes, the Great Wall stands today as a symbol of pride and culture to the Chinese people. Spend some time climbing the centuries old pathway and admire the sprawling landscapes, then continue on to the Sacred Way , a ※divine way§ which leads to the imperial mausoleums of 13 Ming Emperors.

Day 5: Beijing-Xian
In the morning head to the southern part of Beijing to visit the Temple of Heaven, China's largest complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. After our tour, board a short flight to historic Xian.

Day 6: Xian
One of the birthplaces of ancient Chinese civilization, Xian boasts a reputation as a ※natural history museum§, filled with numerous historical and cultural relics and sites. Sightseeing today begins with a tour of the life-size Terra Cotta Warriors, one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, followed by a traditional noodle-making demonstration during lunch. Next, we visit the massive City Wall, Buddhist temple Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and end the day with a lively Tang Dynasty dinner show.

Day 7: Xian 每 Guilin
Before flying to Guilin , enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet, complete with local Xian specialties. After touching down in the picturesque city of Guilin , visit Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave , where impressive stalactite and stalagmite rock formations create a natural art gallery. After dinner, watch a display of cormorant fishing.

Day 8: Guilin
Admire the tranquil landscape of Southern China as we cruise along the jade waters of the Li River. Adorned with rolling hills, steep cliffs, and leisurely boats meandering along, we catch a glimpse of life outside the hustle and bustle of the neighboring metropolis. Disembark at Yangshuo and stroll along its charming streets, lined with cafes and restaurants and filled with an atmosphere of antiquity.

Day 9: Guilin 每 Shanghai
Fly to the bustling metropolis of Shanghai , China 's economic center and its most populous city, where we will spend three nights. Often regarded as the ※ Pearl of the Orient,§ Shanghai is a vibrant metropolis situated on the estuary of the Yangtze River . Dinner is served at our hotel this evening.

Day 10: Shanghai
Our sightseeing tour today includes a tour of the famous Bund, a waterfront boulevard along the Huangpu River , which showcases the city's dazzling skyline and international community. Our next stop is the Ming Dynasty Yu Garden, a renowned classical garden, followed by a drive through the famous shopping district, Nanjing Road . Complete the evening with an exciting Chinese Acrobatics performance.

Day 11: Shanghai
Spend the day at the Shanghai Museum , located in the heart of bustling Shanghai , where we peruse some of the 120,000 exhibits of ancient Chinese art. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 12: Shanghai 每 Hong Kong
Today we take a short flight to Hong Kong , an international port and a gateway between East and West. Hong Kong is a booming metropolis where ancient traditions thrive in an ultramodern city. A Special Administrative Region of China since 1997, it offers visitors a host of historical, cultural, and scenic attractions within its compact area.

Day 13: Hong Kong
Our half-day city tour of Hong Kong begins with a thrilling tram ride to the top of Victoria Peak , where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline and Harbor. We also drive by Repulse bay and visit Stanley Market and Aberdeen Floating Community, home to hundreds of residents living on traditional fishing junks.

Day 14: Hong Kong 每 USA
Our Majestic China Panorama vacation draws to a close as we board the international flight back to the US ; or make the most of your China experience with a extension trip to the enchanting city of Bangkok .
