Day 1 (Thursday) USA to Beijing

Fly to Beijing via our selected airline flights

 

Day 2 (Friday) Arrive Beijing .

Arrive Beijing , the capital of China . Upon arrival, our friendly guide will meet you and transfer you to Regent Wangfujing Hotel or similar class hotel.

 

Day 3 (Saturday) Beijing

Morning tour to the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City . Continue to visit the elegant Summer Palace with a boat cruise on the shimmering waters of Kunming Lake . Enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner tonight.

Day 4 (Sunday) Beijing

Morning tour to the exterior of the Bird Nest & the Water Cube for

photography. Drive to the Great Wall Badaling and the Sacred Way to visit the

Changling Exhibition of the Ming Tombs, if time permits, visit a Cloissone

Factory and observe the skilled artisans at work. Enjoy a Peking Opera or

Cultural Show tonight

Day 5 (Monday) Beijing / Xian

This morning, visit another renowned imperial site ¨Cthe Temple of Heaven . Then visit the Beijing City Planning Museum and watch a 3D film which tells the glory, history and development of Beijing . Take an afternoon flight to Xian.Upon arrival, transfer to Xian Sofitel Hotel or similar class hotel. This afternoon's sightseeing includes the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Banpo Neolithic Museum. Enjoy a dumpling dinner at the famous Defachang Restaurant.

Day 6 (Tuesday) Xian

Full day sightseeing includes the Excavations of Terra-cotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots, one of the greatest archeological finds of the century, see all excavated Exhibitions 1, 2 ,3, 4 and watch the archaeologists work on further excavation. Watch the Circle Vision Movie of this historical story. Tonight, enjoy Tang Dynasty Music Dinner Show.

Day 7 (Wednesday) Xian / Nanjing

Take a morning flight to Nanjing , the capital of 6 Dynasties in China . Check into Sheraton Hotel or similar class hotel. Afternoon sightseeing includes the Ancient Tower of Yuejiang and the Zhenghe Temple . Experience viewing the beautiful landscape of the Yamgtze River atop the tower, also visit the Ancient Military City Wall and the Presidential Palace of Chiang Kai Shek. One of the highlights of this visit to Nanjing is a night visit to the Confucious Temple and the one hour cruise along the Qinghuai River .

Day 8 (Thursday) Nanjing / Zhenjiang / Yangzhou

Take a morning visit to the Nanjing Museum , where you will see the best stone sculptures. Then take a one hour bus ride to Zhenjiang , an ancient imperial harbor. Visit the legendary Golden Mount Temple , the ancient marina, and navigation emergency house. Then cross the second largest highway bridge on the Yangtze River by taking a forty minute drive to Yangzhou . Here, visit the East Gate along the Grand Canal, and the Geyuen Garden . Enjoy a night cruise along the illuminated Grand Canal .

Day 9 (Friday) Yangzhou

Morning visit to the Slender West Lake and many surrounding gardens with several historical attractions: Lotus Flower Pagoda, Small Gold Mountain , the Fishing Platform, the Five Pavilions Bridge , the Streams & Clouds House, Quiet Garden , Moon Introduce Tower , Longevity Celebration Tower , the Twenty Four Bridge and many ancient gardens. It reveals the classical taste for natural beauty and artificial design. In the afternoon, visit the Daming Temple , Xisha Pagoda, and the Pingshan Tower . Also explore the Marco Polo

Museum. If time permits, visit the Arts and Craft Institution. Enjoy the nightlife at the ancient clubs along the canal; have a beer at the Old Beer Factory to meet new friends.

Day 10 (Saturday) Yangzhou / Nantong

Drive to the Yangtze River Water Control System and visit the terminal of the South-North Water Diversion, one of the biggest construction projects. Tehn drive to Shuihui Garden in Rugao County to explore the old green covered alleys and houses. Rugao is an old city with the best preserved ancient features. It also boasts of a large number of people exceeding over 100 years old, and shows the best technique of Bonsai Designing. Continue your journey to Nantong , and visit the Muewum of Textile and the Museum of Abacus . At night, take a one hour cruise on the Haohe River . Check into Yunfeng Garden hotel or similar class hotel.

Day 11 (Sunday) Nantong / Suzhou

Continue to visit Nantong , then ride a bus and cross a 30 kilometer long highway bridge to Suzhou (one hour drive). Visit the Fisherman Net Master garden and the Three Attractions at Panmen (composed of the Ancient City gate, the Ruiguang Pagoda, and the Wumen Stone Bridge . Also visit the Silk Reeling Factory for the traditional silk exibit and production. Check into Wu Palace Sheraton Hotel or similar class hotel.

Day 12 (Monday) Suzhou

Visit the Humble Administrator ¡®s Garden and then stroll along Mount & Pond Old Streets-the ancient corner of Suzhou . Then take a canal cruise along to ancient alleys to picturesque Hanshan Temple . In the afternoon, visit the Singapore New District & the Golden Roost Lake to Yuanrong Market-a modern plaza with hundreds of stores decorated with Chinese classical architecture. Then visit Li Gong Causeway across the lake with classical pavilions, towers, rockets, archways and rainbow style stone bridges and traditional gardens. This night we recommend you to stroll along the Ligong Causeway and relax while at clubs, bars and restaurants or wondering around at Ancient City Gate Chonglu for the night bars and clubs along the canal.

Day 13 (Tuesday) Suzhou / Shanghai

This morning depart Suzhou for Shanghai , and visit the Old Downtown and classical Yu Garden. Afternoon city tour to The Bund-the window of Shanghai history and modern fast changes, then visit Xintiandi, a very well-known boutique area. Enjoy Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight. Check into Shanghai Skyway Pullman Hotel or similar class hotel.

Day 14 (Wednesday) Shanghai

Today's highlight is a visit to the Shanghai World EXPO. It covers a large area of over 5.6 Square KM with 27 master halls. The theme is to show all new creational hopes, concepts, designs, technologies, and present to the world a full potential of urban life in the 21st century as a significant one for urban evolution with New Approaches of Human Habitat, Beautiful Lifestyle.

(Shanghai EXPO is on May 01 ¨C Oct.31, but on Feb.01-Apr.29, Nov.01-Dec31 are pre & post exhibition also available for visit ). If Shanghai EXPO is not available, take an excursion to the ancient water-town Zhujiajiao to see another unchanged face of Shanghai . In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum , one of the best museums in the world, with a huge collection of the finest cultural relics. After the Museum visit, stroll out the North Gate to the People Square .

Transfer to airport for your homeward flight or your next destination.
