This Indochina adventure journeys through countries steeped in mysticism and unparalleled diversity. Treasures abound in the French-infused city of Hanoi and the breathtaking seascapes of Halong Bay in Vietnam 's north. Voyage south to discover the fascinating history of the Cu Chi Tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City and witness the ethereal beauty of the colossal Angkor Wat.

Itinerary:
Day 1: USA-Hanoi
Board our international flight, ready to embark on our Indochina adventure.
Day 2: En-route
Spend the day aboard the jetliner as we cross the International Date Line.
Day 3: Arrive-Hanoi
Arrive in Hong Kong, where we board a connecting flight to Hanoi . Upon arrival, greet our tour guide in the airport and transfer to our hotel.

Day 4: Hanoi
The small city of Hanoi is filled with broad, tree-lined boulevards that evoke the allure of Old Asia and its French heritage. Sightseeing today begins with a tour of the Temple of Literature , the largest and most important temple complex in the city. Continue on to visit One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House. Stroll along the colorful streets of the Old Quarter, nicknamed ˇ°36 Streets,ˇ± then complete our tour with a lively water puppet show.

Day 5: Hanoi-Halong Bay
Enjoy the morning free at leisure until we board a bus to Halong Bay .

Day 6: Halong Bay
Today we board a traditional long-tail boat for a cruise along the shimmering waters of Halong Bay . Marvel at the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder, where crooked limestone islands rise up from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin . The tiny islands are dotted with floating villages, sailing junks and beaches. Enjoy lunch aboard, then stop by several islands to explore their mysterious grottoes, some of which contain fascinating stalactite and stalagmite rock formations.

Day 7: Halong Bay-Hanoi-Saigon
Transit back to Hanoi via motorcoach and catch a flight to Saigon . Upon arrival, the remainder of the day is free at leisure to explore the city or relax in the hotel.

Day 8: Saigon
One of Southeast Asia's liveliest cities, Ho Chi Minh City , formerly known as Saigon, is Vietnam 's largest metropolis and its economic heartbeat. This morning, we take an excursion to the famed Cu Chi Tunnels. Built by the Vietcong during the war, the tunnels were part of an underground network that provided a stronghold close to the city. After exploring part of the tunnels, which took decades to dig, enjoy the remainder of the day free at leisure.

Day 9: Saigon-Siem Reap
Our full day of sightseeing begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace , the former location of the South Vietnamese government, followed by a tour of the War Remnants Museum , Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. Enjoy some shopping at the colorful Ben Thanh Market, then drive by City Hall and the Opera House. Complete our tour with a trip to Cholon, or Chinatown , to visit the Emperor of Jade Pagoda. Later in the afternoon, take a flight to Siem Reap, the gateway town to the monuments of Angkor .

Day 10: Siem Reap
Today we visit the highlight of any trip to Southeast Asia ¨C the majestic Angkor Wat. This centuries-old monument is a stunning fusion of symmetry, spirituality and pure grandeur. Continue on to visit Angkor Thom and tour the monuments Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Built by Angkor 's greatest King, this fortified city was believed to hold up to 1 million people at its height.

Day 11: Siem Reap
This morning, we visit the most ethereal of the temples of Angkor , Ta Prohn. Partially enveloped by the surrounding jungle, the temple looks very much the same way most monuments did centuries ago when the first European explorers laid eyes on them. Continue on to visit the temples Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevoda and the wood and stone-carving school, Les Chantiers Ecole.

Day 12: Siem Reap - Bangkok
Fly to Bangkok , Thailand 's capital since the 18th century, and the economic and cultural heart of the Kingdom. Upon arrival, you transfer to hotel to relax. Then enjoy a welcome dinner with a Thai Classical Dance Show.

Day 13: Bangkok
We begin our tour of this ˇ°City of Angels ˇ± with an excursion to the Grand Palace , the former residence of the royal family, followed by a tour of the Coronation Hall and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the country's most significant religious structure. Continue on to visit the Reclining Buddha Temple . After lunch, stop by a Thai Silk store and a Gems Factory to learn more about the process of these precious stones.

Day 14: Bangkok-USA
Bid farewell to the intriguing world of Indochina and board a return flight back to the US .
